Automotive Dealership Accountant / Office Manager Salary: $80,000-$100,000+ per year, based on experience

We are seeking a highly experienced Automotive Dealership Accountant / Office Manager to join our dealership. This is a key management position requiring extensive automotive dealership accounting experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to independently manage the dealership's accounting and administrative operations.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Extensive automotive dealership accounting experience is required
Full working knowledge of Dealertrack software is required
Strong knowledge of full-cycle dealership accounting
Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Bank and account reconciliations
General ledger management and journal entries
Deal posting, funding reconciliation, and accounting schedules
Payroll and employee-related accounting
Month-end and year-end accounting procedures
Financial statement preparation and review
Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues independently
Strong organizational and office-management skills

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is tenacious, self-driven, confident, dependable, and extremely detail-oriented. We need someone who takes ownership of their position, follows through, meets deadlines, and does not need to be continuously supervised or reminded of responsibilities. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment, handling multiple priorities, solving problems, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Schedule

This is a full-time salaried management position requiring a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week. Candidates must also have the flexibility to work some Saturdays as business needs require.

Compensation

$80,000-$100,000+ annually, depending on dealership accounting experience, Dealertrack proficiency, and overall qualifications.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can step into this position with confidence, take ownership of the accounting office, and become a dependable long-term member of our management team.
