Job Title: Bookkeeper

Department: Finance / Accounting

Reports To: Controller

Location: Onsite – Irving, TX

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: 50K - 60K Dollars / year

About the Role

We're hiring a Personal Bookkeeper to review and maintain personal financial records — invoices, payment requests, reimbursements, and supporting documents.

This role is centered on review and verification, not payment execution. The work is to look at what comes through, notice what doesn't add up, and say so.

This suits someone who values steady, careful work and wants a role they can settle into.

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and file personal invoices, payment requests, reimbursements, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
Maintain organized personal financial records, account information, and documentation.
Track payment status, reconcile records, and proactively identify discrepancies — and clearly explain your reasoning when something looks off.
Liaise with banks to verify transactions, obtain statements and documentation, and resolve account discrepancies.
Support organization of fixed-asset records and personal tax-related materials.
Coordinate with relevant colleagues to gather missing documents and confirm details before items are closed out.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred).
1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, or financial record-keeping.
Sharp eye for numbers — able to consistently catch small errors and inconsistencies, not just process volume.
Comfortable raising a concern and explaining your thinking, even when it slows things down.
Comfortable communicating with banks by phone and email to verify and resolve routine matters.
High discretion and trustworthiness; comfortable handling confidential personal financial information.
Proficient with Excel and common bookkeeping/financial software.
