Front Desk Agent (Full-Time / Part-Time)Overview

Hampton Inn by Hilton Irving Las Colinas is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent (Full-Time / Part-Time) to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating memorable first impressions while delivering exceptional hospitality in accordance with Hilton Brand Standards.

The ideal candidate is passionate about guest service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing every guest with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Greet every guest with a warm, genuine smile and provide outstanding customer service in accordance with Hilton Brand Standards.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while ensuring accuracy with room assignments, payment processing, and guest information.
Recognize and acknowledge Hilton Honors members and explain available benefits.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly using professional phone etiquette.
Assist guests with reservations, room changes, extensions, directions, and information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns and resolve issues using Hilton guest recovery standards.
Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's Property Management System (OnQ or similar).
Process payments, authorize credit cards, balance cash drawers, and follow all cash-handling and PCI compliance procedures.
Assist with Night Audit responsibilities when assigned.
Work closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure guest rooms are ready, maintenance issues are addressed quickly, and guest requests are completed promptly.
Keep the front desk, lobby, market, and public areas clean, organized, and welcoming throughout your shift.
Restock the Market, front desk supplies, coffee station, and guest amenities as needed.
Promote Hilton Honors enrollment and hotel amenities whenever appropriate.
Follow all Hilton safety, security, and emergency procedures.
Maintain professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude while supporting fellow team members.
Complete all required Hilton training and consistently follow Hilton Brand Standards and hotel policies.

Qualifications

Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
Experience with OnQ, OPERA, or other hotel Property Management Systems is a plus.
Knowledge of Hilton Brand Standards is preferred or willingness to learn.
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
