Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and driven Marketing Content Specialist to join our growing Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for a versatile content creator with a strong background in email marketing, copywriting, and multi-channel content strategy. The successful candidate will develop compelling content that supports demand generation, brand awareness, and customer engagement across the MCI family of brands. You will own the email marketing function while also contributing to web, social, and campaign content initiatives..
Compensation
Starting at $65,000 annual
This role is copywriting focused. A portfolio must be submitted for this position.
Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Automation
- Plan, write, and execute email marketing campaigns across all MCI business divisions, including promotional, nurture, and lifecycle sequences
- Manage email lists, segmentation, and audience targeting within the marketing automation platform
- Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Optimize campaigns through A/B testing of subject lines, CTAs, and content formats
- Ensure email deliverability, CAN-SPAM compliance, and brand consistency across all communications
Content Strategy & Creation
- Develop engaging written content across formats, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, product descriptions, and landing pages
- Create and manage a content calendar aligned with campaign goals, upcoming product launches, and industry events
- Adapt content tone and messaging for multiple audiences, including engineers, procurement professionals, and facility managers
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across MCI divisions to produce technically accurate and compelling content
- Support long-form content development for trade publications and partner co-marketing
Analytics & Reporting
- Track and report on content performance across email, web, and social channels
- Use data to identify high-performing content types and recommend improvements
- Support CRM data hygiene and contact list management derived from website form submissions
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- 3–5 years of professional marketing content experience, with a demonstrated focus on email marketing
- Portfolio of work showcasing email campaigns, written content, and measurable results
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with email marketing and CRM platforms (Creatio, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or equivalent)
- Strong copywriting and editing skills across technical and B2B subject matter
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML for email formatting
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and how they apply to content strategy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B, industrial, or manufacturing marketing environments
- Familiarity with marketing automation workflows and lead nurture strategy
- Experience writing for technical audiences such as engineers or operations professionals
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and email performance reporting tools
- Graphic design competency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
