ROLE AND PURPOSE:

To maintain student records and schedules and to handle all mainframe computer needs for counselors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Proficiency in all general office skills.
Be self-motivated, organized, and exhibit good interpersonal and telephone skills
Some school experience preferred
Knowledge of school activities and test days

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

I. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

Maintain student demographic data on computer.
- Make changes as directed by counselors or assistant principal(s)
- Enter new students on the computer.
Maintain student grades on computer
- Collects, organizes, and submits grade
- Receives teachers' grade verification
- Makes grade changes from teacher's reports of completed grades.
Assist front office
Back up attendance clerks
Back up substitute coordinator
Enroll/withdraw/transfer processing
Assists with processing grades, transcripts, progress reports and report cards
Maintain TREX Records and cumulative folders
Other duties as assigned.
