Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, proficiency with accounting software, and strong financial reporting skills. This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet and general ledger accounts.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.

Prepare and interpret financial reports to provide insights into performance.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Assist with tax preparation and compliance.

Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.

Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or Xero.

Qualifications

Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting.

Strong knowledge of accrual accounting, financial management, and corporate finance.

Experience with regulatory reporting is a plus.

Advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and mentor others.

Bilingual: Mandarin and English required.
