Job Summary

Responsible for performing roving audits of material, products, and processes for compliance, accuracy, and functionality.

Responsibilities

Completes and processes necessary documentation and/or paperwork.
Provide trouble-shooting and problem-solving assistance.
Read pertinent documentation as required to verify correct products and components (i.e. Bills of Material (BOM) and/or Bills of Lading (BOL).
Notifies supervisor when unacceptable product/material is discovered.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Follow all safety rules and regulations as well as Company rules and policies.
Perform tasks with limited or no supervision.
Maintain satisfactory performance levels.
Able to organize and direct special projects with minimal direction as required.
Participate in process improvement teams.
Work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to perform all physical demands of the position including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs., on a limited basis.
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, written correspondence, memos, and have the ability to write simple correspondence.
Must be able to perform basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Must demonstrate ability to work well with other departments.
Prefer ability to use various instruments and equipment (i.e. calipers, micrometers, hardness gauge, forklift, pallet jack, etc).
Prefer basic computer experience using MS Office, Word, Excel, SAP, etc.
