Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Worker to join our team on an ongoing basis. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support and intervention services to individuals and families facing complex challenges. Your expertise will help foster stability, promote well-being, and empower clients to achieve their goals. Duties

Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, strengths, and challenges to develop personalized case plans.
Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate tense situations and ensure safety for clients and staff.
Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes and enhance client engagement.
Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services and support systems.
Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child abuse or neglect promptly and accurately.
Offer culturally competent services that respect diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and family dynamics.
Maintain detailed case records, monitor progress, and adjust intervention strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or families within social services settings.
Strong knowledge of child welfare practices, childhood development, family law, and child protective services protocols.
Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and conflict resolution strategies.
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and confidentiality standards related to social work practice.
Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse populations effectively.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with clients from varied backgrounds.
Experience in case management software or documentation systems used in social services environments.
