The Opportunity

Builders Workshop is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations for a high-end residential project in Jackson Hole, WY. We are looking to hire a superintendent who is available to start in the next 2-4 weeks.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a superintendent who knows how to run a disciplined, polished, high-performing jobsite. You will be responsible for daily execution, trade coordination, quality control, schedule performance, site logistics, and field accountability from mobilization through closeout.

You will work in close partnership with the Project Manager and broader project team, but you will own what happens in the field. The right candidate is proactive, technically sharp, detail-oriented, and capable of leading architecturally significant residential work at a high level.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership

Lead all day-to-day site operations from mobilization through final completion
Set the standard for safety, organization, professionalism, and jobsite performance
Direct field teams and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and deliveries
Create a jobsite culture built on accountability, urgency, and quality

Schedule Execution

Drive daily and weekly production in alignment with the master schedule
Maintain short-interval planning and multi-week look-aheads
Identify constraints and delays early, then implement recovery actions quickly
Coordinate inspections, procurement timing, and trade handoffs to protect milestones

Trade Coordination

Sequence subcontractors effectively and maintain workflow across all phases of construction
Ensure each trade understands scope, schedule expectations, quality standards, and site readiness
Resolve field conflicts in real time and escalate larger issues proactively
Coordinate rough-in, framing, finishes, punch, and closeout with strong command of dependencies

Quality Control

Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all trades and phases
Inspect work in place for compliance with drawings, specifications, and design intent
Review critical details before installation and enforce mockups, benchmarks, and finish standards
Drive punchlist completion and finish quality with urgency and precision

Technical Execution

Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with confidence
Identify constructability issues, coordination conflicts, and scope gaps before they become field problems
Partner with the Project Manager and design team on RFIs, clarifications, and field decisions
Verify layout, dimensions, and installation requirements before work proceeds

Site Operations

Maintain site safety, cleanliness, protection, and overall jobsite presentation
Manage staging, access, deliveries, temporary conditions, and material flow
Ensure compliance with company standards, local requirements, and inspection readiness
Protect installed work and maintain an orderly, client-ready environment throughout construction

Documentation & Communication

Maintain accurate daily reports, site photos, manpower tracking, and progress updates
Track inspections, deficiencies, field decisions, and schedule impacts
Communicate clearly with the Project Manager, trade partners, consultants, and internal leadership
Provide reliable reporting on progress, upcoming needs, and jobsite risks

What You Bring

5+ years of superintendent, assistant superintendent, or lead field management experience in custom residential construction
Strong experience delivering ground-up high-end or luxury residential projects
Deep understanding of sequencing, site operations, and finish coordination
Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and consultant drawings
Strong field presence and the ability to hold trade partners accountable
High attention to detail and strong instincts for quality
Clear communication, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to work independently and drive results without constant oversight

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with architecturally significant or design-forward residential projects
Experience working with high-expectation clients, architects, and owner representatives
Familiarity with construction management software, digital reporting tools, and schedule tracking
Strong closeout, punch, and finish-phase management experience
El Paso market familiarity or experience managing projects in West Texas or similar environments
