Job Description:

As an Aviation Buyer at Skypaxx Repairs, you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes. You will be responsible for purchasing, expediting, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within the department. Your aviation purchasing experience will be instrumental as you hit the ground running in this fast-paced role.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement: Manage the purchasing process for aviation parts and supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
Expediting: Monitor and expedite orders to prevent delays and ensure on-time delivery.
Department Flow: Oversee the smooth operation of the procurement department, addressing any issues or obstacles that arise.
Supplier Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure high-quality products and services.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including purchase orders.

Qualifications:

Experience: Experience in aviation purchasing is preferred; experience in a related field is a plus.
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with purchasing and inventory management software; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or additional education is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
