Temporary Recruiter (90-Day Project Assignment) – Jacksonville, FL

Hueman is hiring a Temporary Recruiter at our Jacksonville, FL office to support a high-volume recruiting project for one of our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch or grow a career in recruiting. If you’ve worked in an environment where you had to build relationships quickly, manage multiple priorities, and keep people informed, then you’ve done more of this job than you might think. We’ll teach you the rest.

In this role, you will focus on the front-end recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, candidate submissions, and interview coordination. You will partner closely with the Hueman team to ensure a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process.

This is a temporary, project-based position supporting a client recruiting initiative beginning in June and anticipated to run through September. Candidates must be able to commit to the full 90-day project duration. While the current assignment is expected to conclude in September, there may be an opportunity for extension based on project needs and performance.

Schedule: The temporary, project-based position requires a commitment of at least 30 hours per week and is based in our Jacksonville, FL office five days per week (Monday–Friday).

Compensation: $20 per hour with placement commission opportunities available based on successful hires.

What You’ll Do

Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
Review resumes and assess candidates' qualifications against position requirements
Conduct phone screens to evaluate candidate fit.
Submit qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration.
Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
Maintain accurate candidate records and activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Provide timely communication and updates to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Partner with recruiting leadership to ensure project hiring goals and timelines are achieved.
Track recruiting activity and maintain recruiting metrics as required
Deliver an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Participate in team meetings and project status updates.
Support additional recruiting-related activities as needed.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technology.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus but not required.

Education & Experience

Previous recruiting experience is not required.
Customer service, sales, administrative, staffing, call center, or other professional experience is preferred.
Students or recent graduates and individuals interested in starting a career in recruiting are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication skills, organization, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
