About The Position

With the position of Front Desk Coordinator, you are the welcoming face of our salon and boutique space and the very first point of contact for our guests. You’ll set the tone for their entire experience with a warm smile and upbeat energy. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a bustling environment, loves to multitask, and takes pride in keeping things running beautifully and efficiently using excellent administrative skills. We are looking for those with an upbeat and outgoing personality, professional appearance, and positive demeanor. For career-minded individuals, this position offers opportunities for career advancement and bonuses.

To thrive in this role, you should have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be equipped to handle urgent matters in a timely and effective manner while upholding daily operational responsibilities. Multitasking, time management, and exceptional organizing skills are essential for this position. Some other responsibilities of this position include:

-Greet and welcome everyone warmly as they walk through the door.

-Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, and assist callers with a friendly, helpful attitude.

-Utilize our booking system to seamlessly schedule and manage client appointments.

-Send professional written communications through multiple messaging platforms to assist guests with booking, appointments, questions, and more.

-Process and merchandise incoming boutique & in-house inventory, keeping our retail displays looking fresh and inviting.

-Ensure the reception desk, common areas, and boutique remain tidy, presentable, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.

-Upkeep daily salon support tasks like managing laundry, serving client beverages, dusting, and other cleaning duties.

-Run occasional office errands and jump in on duties when necessary to support the salon and other staff.

-Additional support staff duties.

Requirements

-Due to state alcohol regulations, applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

-Prior front desk or receptionist experience is preferred; applicants with prior Spa or Salon experience are highly encouraged to apply!

-Customer service expertise; prior sales experience is a big plus since our salon features a curated boutique!

-Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

-Professional appearance and positive, upbeat attitude.

-Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

-Excellent organizational skills.

-Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

-Quick learner, anticipates needs, who is proactive and self-motivated.

-Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and other Google programs.
