Part-Time Bilingual Immunization Front Desk Clerk

Louisville, KY
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Position Type: Part-Time

Part-Time Bilingual Immunization Front Desk Clerk Requirements

Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to accurately collect and enter patient information
Comfortable working with confidential medical and financial information
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to communicate professionally with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Key Responsibilities

Retrieve and verify patient information, including demographics, insurance, and other required documentation
Register patients and maintain clinic appointment schedules and patient flow
Answer incoming phone calls, provide information, take messages, and route calls appropriately
Obtain and record financial and medical information from patients
Prepare and witness consent forms and process patient records
Enter, code, store, and update patient information and other data using computer systems
Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, forms, and other documents
Greet patients and the public while providing information, instructions, and assistance
Maintain accurate departmental and patient records and files
Assist nurses with obtaining and recording patient vital signs and other measurements
Label and organize specimens for transportation to the laboratory
Compile records and routine statistical information
Sort and distribute mail
Prepare and requisition clinic and office supplies
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and materials
Reconcile cash collections with receipt records
Post information to forms, records, and other documentation
Perform additional related duties as assigned
