Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and ensure the smooth operation of our food service establishment. In this role, you will oversee daily kitchen activities, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, deliver exceptional customer experiences and have the chance to grow with the first of many to come Dare Goes Da Pasta's. Your leadership will drive efficiency, maintain high-quality food production, and foster a positive team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to showcase their culinary expertise and management skills in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
Manage inventory control by ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management.
Oversee POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Train, develop, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours.
Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, handle interviewing processes for new hires, and foster a team-oriented atmosphere focused on excellent customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation and cooking.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, staff training, and leadership capabilities.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, along with cash handling expertise.
Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety management, and budgeting principles.
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order accuracy and financial reporting.
Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining environments is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, training & development, and team leadership.
