Full Job Description

Position Overview:

Care For Elders LLC is seeking an experienced Georgia-licensed Registered Nurse for a flexible PRN Supervising Nurse position supporting our non-medical home-care agency in Gwinnett County. This is an excellent supplemental-income opportunity for an RN seeking approximately 2–8 flexible hours per week without committing to traditional 8- or 12-hour nursing shifts.

Pay: $40–$48/hour | $300 Sign-On Bonus | Flexible PRN Schedule

$300 Sign-On Bonus: For qualified RNs, $150 after 60 days and $150 after 120 days of active employment and satisfactory performance.

Current expected workload is approximately 2–8 hours per week. Hours are variable based on client census and agency needs and are not guaranteed from week to week. Additional RN hours may become available as the agency's client census grows.

Primary service area: Gwinnett County and nearby communities.

Care For Elders LLC is a locally operated non-medical home-care agency serving seniors and families in Gwinnett County and surrounding communities. We are committed to providing dependable, compassionate, family-centered care while supporting clients' independence and dignity at home.

Key Responsibilities:

Client assessments and periodic reassessments
Care-plan development and updates
Caregiver orientation and training
Supervisory visits and documentation review
Communication with the Administrator regarding changes in client needs
Compliance and supervisory documentation
Limited quality oversight

This is primarily a supervisory and care-coordination role rather than a traditional bedside nursing position. It does not primarily involve skilled bedside services such as wound care, IV therapy or routine medication administration.

This is not an on-call nursing position. However, new-client assessments sometimes need to be scheduled promptly. The RN should be reasonably responsive to scheduling communications and generally able to accommodate mutually agreed assessments within approximately 24–48 hours.

Qualifications

Current, active and unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently
Dependable and timely communication
Ability to travel locally to client homes in Gwinnett County
Professional and compassionate demeanor

Preferred Qualifications:

Home care, home health, hospice, geriatrics, assisted living, community health, case management or supervisory nursing experience
Experience conducting client assessments and developing care plans
Experience training or supervising caregivers/direct-care staff
Familiarity with senior care and activities of daily living
