Senior Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant

Location

Duluth, GA (In-Person Initially | Hybrid Opportunity in the Future)

Position Summary

Cabinet Showroom is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Senior Kitchen Designer & Sales Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a sales-driven role for an experienced kitchen designer. While strong design skills are essential, the primary focus of this position is building client relationships, converting leads into sales, growing Trade Pro partnerships, and achieving monthly sales goals.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about both kitchen design and sales, thrives on building rapport with clients, and enjoys the challenge of turning opportunities into revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, extensive kitchen design experience, and exceptional communication skills.

Please do not apply if you are seeking a design-only role. This position is heavily focused on sales performance, relationship building, lead conversion, and business development.

This position is initially in-person at our Duluth, Georgia showroom. As the role develops, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered.

Schedule

We are open to discussing several scheduling options based on the needs of the business and the candidate:

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST (30-minute lunch)
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Alternative schedules, including one weekday off with Saturday coverage, may also be considered

Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required for client appointments, trade events, and showroom activities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

Build strong relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, remodelers, and Trade Pro partners
Manage incoming leads and opportunities through multiple communication channels
Follow up consistently via phone, text, email, website chat, and CRM systems
Call cold leads and warm leads to generate new business opportunities
Grow and develop the Cabinet Showroom Trade Pro program
Conduct showroom consultations and in-home client appointments
Present cabinetry solutions and confidently close sales
Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and conversion targets
Participate in sales meetings, KPI reviews, and performance discussions
Maintain accurate records and project updates within CRM systems

Kitchen Design & Project Management

Conduct design consultations and discovery meetings
Create professional kitchen and cabinetry designs using 2020 Design
Review floor plans, measurements, and project specifications
Develop cabinet layouts, product recommendations, and quotations
Coordinate design revisions and client changes
Submit completed design packages to the Design Assistant for production support
Manage projects from initial consultation through order placement
Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure project success
Maintain a high level of product knowledge across cabinet lines, accessories, and related products

Customer Communication

Review, respond to, and manage incoming design requests from:

Email
Phone calls
Text messages
Website chat
FreshSales CRM
FreshCaller

Provide exceptional customer service and communication throughout the entire sales and design process.

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 5 years of kitchen design and sales experience
Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Demonstrated success converting leads into sales
Experience working with homeowners, builders, contractors, and Trade Pro customers
Strong understanding of kitchen design principles, cabinetry construction, and industry best practices
Previous experience managing a sales pipeline and customer relationships
Top-performing sales background with measurable results

Design Skills

Expert-level proficiency in 2020 Design
Ability to create detailed and accurate kitchen and cabinetry designs
Strong understanding of space planning, cabinet construction, and kitchen functionality
Ability to read and interpret floor plans, elevations, and project specifications

Technical Skills

Strong computer and technology skills
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Office Suite
CRM platforms

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

FreshSales
FreshCaller
Magento

Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus.

Compensation

Base Salary: $60,000 per year
Commission Structure:
1% commission on all sales
Once $200,000 in monthly sales is achieved, commission increases to 3% on all sales above the $200,000 threshold
