Job Overview
Join our hard working and fun team as a Pizza Maker and Prep Cook, where your culinary skills will help craft delicious, high-quality scratch made pizzas and support our busy kitchen operations. This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food preparation talents, contribute to a dynamic restaurant environment, and deliver exceptional dining experiences. Whether you're passionate about pizza artistry or have a background in food service, this position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise in a fast-paced setting.

18.00/hr is starting pay. After brief review period pay will increase

Duties

Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Menu items include appetizers, salads, pastas and sandwiches
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping ingredients, dough handling, and portioning toppings
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients and tools. Proper food handling procedures is an absolute must
Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of quality dishes
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health regulations and quality standards
Full time position with benefits is possible for employees that demonstrate capability and desire.

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments with a focus on pizza or line cooking preferred
Strong knife skills for precise ingredient handling and cutting techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is an absolute must
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team
Passion for culinary arts, meal preparation, and delivering exceptional food service experiences
