Responsibilities

Lead the planning and execution of catering menus, ensuring variety, quality, and adherence to dietary requirements
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation for events and regular service
Manage inventory control and food safety protocols to minimize waste and ensure compliance with health standards
Oversee team management by supervising kitchen staff, assigning duties, providing training, and fostering a positive work environment
Coordinate banquet and event setups, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service standards
Develop innovative menu options that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining operational efficiency
Monitor food costs, manage budgets, and optimize resource utilization for maximum profitability

Requirements

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management
Proven supervisory experience leading diverse kitchen teams in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of dietary department standards and food safety regulations (including HACCP or equivalent)
Skilled in food production, menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
Experience with banquet services, event coordination, and shift management
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate with clients
Familiarity with food handling equipment, inventory control systems, and catering logistics
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
