Full Job Description

Baker / Cake Decorator:

Bake and decorate cakes and pastries - Efficiency when decorating and preparing pastries is essential * Must have experience stacking and decorating tiered cakes. Wedding cake experience is preferred.
Monitor customer orders and delegate tasks to the assistant pastry chefs and oversee their work
Maintain a clean and orderly station and adhere to health and safety standards paying attention to all aspects of the kitchen area. Prepping, mixing, baking
Must be self-sufficient and dependable
Monitor ingredient and supply inventory & place orders
If hired, employee will be required to pass Food Handler's certification

Benefit Eligibility Summary
▪ Health Benefits (shared cost) - Eligible after 30 days of employment (for those scheduled to work 30+ hours / week).
▪ 401(k) - Eligible after 90 days of employment (Full time employees 21+ yrs of age)
▪ 401(k) - Eligible after 2 years of employment (Part time employees 21+ yrs of age)
▪ Paid Holidays - Eligible after 90 days of employment (Full time employees)
▪ Paid Vacation Accrual - 1 week after 1 yr, 2 weeks after 5 yrs, and 3 weeks after 8 years (Full time employees)
▪ Paid Time Off (up to 40 hrs) - after 90 days of employment. Accrual rate is 1 hr per 40 hrs worked (All employees)
▪ Bereavement Leave - Up to 3 days of paid time off (All employees)
