Magid is looking for a Manager, Inside Sales to lead and develop a team of Regional Account Managers responsible for growing and retaining customer relationships. This is more than a sales management role, we're looking for a leader who knows how to build capability, create accountability, and develop a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success leading inside sales or account management teams, developing talent through coaching and performance management, and creating an environment where people consistently improve and deliver results. If you're passionate about mentoring others, building strong teams, and making a lasting impact on both your employees and the business, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you'll lead a team of up to 12 Regional Account Managers, helping them strengthen customer relationships, grow existing business through upselling and cross-selling, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while preparing them for continued career growth. Proven leadership experience is required.

Essential Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Account Managers to achieve individual and team KPIs.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
Provide coaching and training to enhance skills in account management, upselling, and cross-selling.

Performance Management

Set clear performance expectations and regularly monitor progress against goals.
Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and development plans.
Address performance challenges to ensure consistent target achievement.

Strategic Account Growth

Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue from existing and newly acquired accounts.
Ensure smooth transitions for new accounts, fostering relationship-building and long-term satisfaction.
Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and additional value creation.

Customer Success and Retention

Ensure the team delivers high levels of service and proactively addresses customer needs and challenges.
Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues, supporting resolution and satisfaction.

Reporting and Insights

Analyze performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Executive Sales Leadership team.
Leverage data-driven insights to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, operations, and supply chain to support account management and growth initiatives.
Advocate for team needs and resources to support success.

3–5 years in sales (preferably inside sales or B2B selling).
2–4 years in a formal leadership role, managing a team of inside sales representatives.
Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in an inside sales or account management environment.
Demonstrated success in managing and growing customer accounts.
Strong leadership skills with experience in coaching and developing sales professionals.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and drive results.
