Zimmer Marketing, a locally owned and operated company based in Joplin, Missouri, is looking for an energetic, curious, and driven Morning News Host & Multimedia Journalist to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Co-anchor and host KZRG’s live morning show.
- Report, write, and deliver compelling local and regional news across on-air, digital, and social platforms.
- Cover breaking news, weather, and community events in the field.
- Produce and edit audio and video content for multiple platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local sources and community leaders.
- Collaborate with team members while managing assignments independently.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of anchoring or reporting experience preferred.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and production skills across audio, video, and digital.
- Proficiency with web publishing, social media, newsroom systems, and board operation.
- Ability to stay calm, accurate, and professional under deadline pressure.
- Positive, coachable mindset with a strong sense of curiosity.
- On-site position based in Joplin, Missouri.
- High school diploma or equivalent; journalism or media background preferred.
