Overview
Join our dynamic RV team as a Service Manager, where you will lead our service department with energy, expertise, and a customer-first mindset. In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure top-quality camper repairs, and drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled technicians to deliver solutions while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about RV repair and customer service to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Lead and motivate a team of service technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
Oversee diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services
Ensure accurate estimating and service writing to provide transparent quotes and detailed repair orders for customers.
Drive upselling initiatives by identifying additional services or repairs that benefit the customer while increasing revenue opportunities.
Maintain excellent customer relations by providing clear communication about vehicle status, repair options, and cost estimates.
Handle cash transactions accurately and ensure proper documentation for all service activities.
Stay current with RV industry trends and technical advancements to support mechanic training and ongoing technical excellence.

Skills

Proven dealership experience with a strong background in RV service management.
Extensive mechanic experience with expertise in RV diagnostics and repairs across various systems.
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Proficiency in RV estimating software and service writing processes to ensure accurate invoicing.
Strong sales acumen with experience in upselling additional services or vehicle sales when appropriate.
Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in RV repair environments.
Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining detailed records of all financial activities.
