About the Role

As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will play a vital role in our precision manufacturing operations by producing high-quality components through advanced machining techniques. You will be responsible for setting up and operating complex CNC equipment to meet rigorous engineering specifications, ensuring that every part produced contributes to our commitment to excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machinery to produce complex parts while maintaining strict adherence to engineering drawings and tolerances.
Execute precise machining processes across various metals, ensuring high-quality output through consistent monitoring and adjustment.
Perform proactive tooling changes and machine offsets to maintain optimal performance and prevent production delays.
Utilize advanced inspection tools and gauges to verify product quality, ensuring all components meet internal standards.
Complete all necessary documentation and job tracking logs accurately to maintain compliance with manufacturing protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to 5S standards and performing routine preventative maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and resolve manufacturing challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Required Skills

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
3+ years of professional experience in a CNC machining environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform machine setups and minor repairs.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and precision in a fast-paced production setting.

Preferred Skills

Associate’s degree or certificate in Tooling & Machining or completion of a formal apprenticeship.
Experience working with Swiss-style CNC lathes or similar multi-axis equipment.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and documentation standards.
Advanced knowledge of CNC tooling and gauge measurement techniques.
