Job Description

We are a high end Fine Art Gallery located on Main Street in Park City Utah. Currently seeking Superstars who would like to be a part of a team who primarily sell but also have the capability to bring their unique strengths and talents to a phenomenal team. The requirements to have include managerial skills, team skills, excellent daily operational skills, a heart of gold, an enthusiastic zest for life, a smile that speaks to the soul, unique ability to discern the potentiality of the sale while having the resiliency to never give up. Regular opening and closing duties should be expected as well as supporting your coworkers, our artists, and the gallery vision of curating, creating, and inspiring individuals while creating a unique art buying experience.

This position pays at a low 80k a year. An hourly base plus commissions, bonuses, etc. We are really looking for a person who is motivated to be within our top consultants who also see this as a long term career. Our top selling Fine Art Consultants are paid between 150k-250k. Most 1 year Consultants make between 80k-100k at minimum. A 2 year consultants 120-180k, and so forth.

To further provide description the position requires daily connection to Inventory management, client fulfillment which even includes shipping and receiving logistics, providing information to prospects via email, and even an occasional interior design visit giving suggestions in homes etc.. Here at the galleries artwork comes and goes, you will be required to hang art, merchandise and even curating art shows; all while meeting sales expectations among a phenomenal group of co workers. We are a team, and expect accountability be placed on ourselves as well as our co workers. You must have excellent proficiency on a Mac computer, which include Word, Excel, photoshop etc. Excellent, not just proficient writing skills for email follow up with company prospects that professionally represent the company and our artists. The Individuals who are motivated, humble yet understand the energetic importance of having pride in what you do and truly just love people succeed really really well here. Being detail oriented while multi tasking is your best friend as you will love this. It's important to note, you must have sales/retail experience. If you have an art degree, or are an artists yourself we actually seem to turn away a lot of these prospects due an idea of what working in art gallery would be like. If you are business minded, productive, goal orientated and very smart and know how to sell you will quickly be successful here.

This is a high pace, selling environment.that requires an ability to understand work life balance. We are not the kind of Fine Art Gallery where you may see the consultant sitting at a desk reading a book; we are constantly moving and selling. A background in interior design and business will give you an edge. The key and most important characteristics we look for is an ability to understand people and connect quickly. If you're able to connect with people on just about anything, if you yourself are interesting and funny you will succeed very very well. The artwork we sell ranges from $2,500- $5,000, $10-$25,000 and even includes works of art in the 50k to 100k margin. A College degree 99% of the time is required; however if you are a superstar at sales and management we are more than happy to consider you! Old Towne Gallery owns 5 other galleries on Main Street, you and the other consultants rotate floors weekly. The other locations are Art Elevated, Prospect Gallery, Pando Fine Art, and Park City Fine Art and Park Place Fine Art. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of proven sales experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be comfortable with technology and have demonstrated proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
Must be self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Must be available to work 5 days a week, including a Saturday or Sunday each week, and most holidays. Shift time vary but a typical shift is from 11:00am - 7:00pm.

Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities by networking with potential customers and generating sales through foot traffic, outbound calls, emails, and emails via our website and social media accounts.
Identify customer needs by researching products and services offered by Old Towne Gallery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing information about products and services, answering questions, assisting in resolving problems, and following up on referrals.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Respond promptly to customer calls or inquiries.
