Front Desk Check-Out Coordinator Responsibilities:

Create a seamless and positive final impression for every patient as they complete their visit at Love to Smile
Assist patients with scheduling future appointments and coordinating ongoing treatment needs
Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care in a confident, relational, and compassionate manner
Collect payments, review financial arrangements, and navigate financial conversations professionally and empathetically
Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients in understanding their coverage and estimated financial responsibilities
Coordinate with doctors, hygienists, specialists, and front office team members to ensure continuity of patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all check-out processes are completed thoroughly and efficiently
Support front desk concierge services, including answering phones, assisting patients, and helping maintain a welcoming environment
Build long-term patient relationships centered around trust, communication, and exceptional service

Success Factors:

Self-starter who works well independently with minimal supervision
Relational, empathetic, and enjoys connecting with patients
Comfortable discussing finances while maintaining a warm and patient-focused demeanor
Highly detail-oriented and able to thrive within established systems while helping improve processes when needed
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to navigate multiple responsibilities throughout the day
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think proactively and outside the box
Positive attitude with a growth mindset and willingness to be coached
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
