Senior Accountant / CPA

We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Senior Accountant to join our firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working directly with business owners, solving complex tax and accounting issues, and becoming a trusted advisor to clients.

We are a well-established accounting and business advisory firm providing comprehensive tax, accounting, payroll, business consulting, and specialized transaction services to businesses and individuals throughout the region. Our team values integrity, professionalism, responsiveness, and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
Prepare financial statements.
Perform tax planning and consulting for business and individual clients.
Provide accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll guidance.
Assist clients with entity selection, business formation, and strategic planning.
Manage client relationships and communicate directly with business owners.

Qualifications

CPA license preferred (or CPA candidate with significant experience).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Three or more years of public accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
Experience with business and individual tax preparation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with accounting and tax software.
