Job Description

Directly reporting to QA/QC Manager to inspect manufactured product while adhering to strict documenation requirements within QMS.
Working with a team to coordinate duties and ensure all product is inspected efficiently and thoroughly.
Reviewing and inspecting completed product and production records to ensure product standards are met and enforcing quality-control programs. This includes newly manufactured and repaired products.
Visual awareness of production area to ensure effective execution of all policies of QMS System and safety goals of the company.
Ensure that the document control procedure is enforced and properly utilized to approve, review, and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of the QMS.
Assist with surveillance audits to vendors as required.
Assist in continual improvements of the QMS, review and update Risk Assessment, and ensure that evidence of NCRs and corrective actions taken are recorded and reviewed.
Monitor Quality Control adherences to ISO Standards and ASI/Work Instructions established for product production and inspection.
Making sure the good quality production of products is on time while monitoring the production practices and working with the QA/QC Manager when issues arise.
Ensure all tools and meters used within production and throughout the facility are calibrated properly and timely, maintaining equipment, supervising product standards, and enforcing quality-control programs. Take any nonworking tools and meters out of service and send them to be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
Keeping abreast of health and safety strategies and working with HSE Manager to make sure all work areas are kept safe while practicing safe working practices.
Follow all safety requirements during the quality inspection process.
Report and work with QA/QC Manager on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement.
Assist QA/QC Manager with working with the Internal Audit team to perform annual schedule of quality system audits; includes HSE Audit and ISO9001:2015 Audits.
Assist QA/QC Manager, as required, with regulatory agencies on a quarterly basis as they perform on-site audits of products manufactured to ensure we are following all guidelines as required.
Continual training, as needed, to properly perform the quality inspection tasks required to ensure products are delivered to customers without issue.

Education

High School Diploma or GED
2 year degree preferred

Experience

1-3 years of quality experience in PCB & Electronics manufacturing quality inspection
Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or equal

Skills and Qualifications

Must be able work in a fast-pace, demanding environment.
Must be able to adjust to production demands as needed.
Detail oriented, organized
Must be able to take constructive instruction and make adjustments as required.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
Read, understand, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions, schematics and engineered drawings
Follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data
Adjust to changes without compromising quality or performance
Make judgments in position and process on-the-spot without delay
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly
Read measuring tools such as gauges, meters, etc
