Full Job Description

At Pediatric Smiles of Cypress, we are building a high-energy, patient-centered pediatric dental team — and we are looking for a standout Patient Care Coordinator who brings confidence, urgency, professionalism, and amazing communication skills to the front office.

This is NOT an “average front desk” role.

We are looking for someone who:

understands dental insurance and scheduling flow
can confidently guide conversations
helps keep the office productive, organized, and positive

Responsibilities

Maintain a productive and organized schedule
Schedule new patients, treatment appointments, and recare visits
Work unscheduled treatment and follow-up lists daily
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage confidently
Communicate proactively with parents regarding appointments and financial expectations
Help manage same-day scheduling opportunities
Support a smooth, positive patient experience from check-in to check-out
Assist with collections, deposits, and financial conversations when needed
Work closely with clinical team to maintain excellent office flow

Can self-manage without constant supervision
Has strong communication and follow-through skills

Preferred Qualifications

Dental front office experience REQUIRED
Pediatric dental experience preferred
Cosmetic dental experience is a PLUS
Insurance verification experience REQUIRED
Open Dental experience preferred
Treatment coordination or clinical background is a PLUS especially in cosmetic dentistry
Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a PLUS but not required
