Full Job Description

** this position will move to Wallis, Texas in Q4 of 2026**

Job Summary
The Project Manager (for Industrial Installations) will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget parameters. Project manager will serve as the link between all team leaders involved in the project.

Responsibilities and Authority

Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, milestone goals, and deliverables.
Complete project management review of job packets received from the Sales team.
Establish clear lines of communication between project team members and assign activities and responsibilities.
Engage Engineering to develop the design, and the PM is responsible for obtaining customer approval of the design package.
Develop SOW and specifications of products/services required, source quotes.
Participate in contract reviews.
Create Purchase orders and order materials, services and consumables.
Price and submit change orders, and RFI’s.
Manage project budgets, create weekly progress reports, and weekly cash flow forecasting.
Engage HSE, ensure HSE plan is in place for projects.
Liaise with Construction Managers to develop site installation plans and obtain customer approvals, including risk assessments and SIMOPs.
Issue weekly progress reports to external customers.
Keep stakeholders informed, notify stakeholders of decisions/approvals required from them.
Add projects to the project dashboard and update them weekly.
Liaise with construction managers to schedule resources to achieve project commitments.
Monitors and manages vendor performances.
Provides effective direction and coordination of all project activities and all associated project controls as appropriate, including but not limited to undertaking site visits, audits, inspections and reviews.
Invoice review and approval.
Notify accounts payable of invoice requirements, and ensure invoices are submitted to customers in a timely manner.
Facilitate project commissioning and handover activities.
File all project information according to company's filing and retention policy.
Employees may be assigned additional duties or responsibilities as needed to support organizational goals and business needs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Project Management experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Project software.

Technical Knowledge

Experience in managing industrial installation projects is an asset.
Knowledgeable with OSHA standards.
Basic understanding of API 12B and AWWA standards.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or PMP certification.
Strong Interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in schematic and blueprint reading.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience Required

5+ years' experience, working up to and including management, of installation projects.
