We only accept candidates who can work FULL TIME. We will NOT be accepting any candidates who have classes during working hours.

We will also NOT be accepting any candidates that are NOT located in the Houston area.

XQ CPA is at the forefront of disrupting the accounting industry enabled by technology and AI. We are not your typical public accounting company. We are a fast growing Houston-based CPA firm seeking to hire smart and hard-working accounting interns with the main goal of learning and growing their skills and developing their career into a full-fledged CPA. We provide hands on training to fresh graduates to develop their skills to become a professional accountant and opportunity for rapid career growth through our partnership program (opportunity to become part owner of the firm).

Pre-requisites to this position:

- Fresh ACCOUNTING graduates are welcome to apply (MUST have an accounting degree).
- Need to speak fluent English!
- Need to possess strong written/email skills. Need to be able to write well.
- Proactive, motivated, fast learner and hard-working!
- Outgoing and possess great communication skills. Need to be friendly and preferably a people person.
- Must have GPA 3.2 and above.

Candidates who join will have the opportunity to learn:

- Corporate and small business accounting.

- Tax preparation process and procedures.

- Netsuite ERP, QuickBooks, Xero and variety of accounting software training.

- Business Intelligence software

- Payroll processing and reporting.

- Attestation

- Account reconciliation

- Master Microsoft Office and Excel skills

- Data Analysis and Business Intelligence

- Direct client interaction by provide accounting advice

- Work with clients from various industry

- Organizational Skills
