Front Desk & Clinical Support Coordinator

Concierge Pain Management and Orthopedic Practice – North and Central New Jersey

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible, but full-time preferred)

Location: North & Central New Jersey (rotating offices; majority of time in Lyndhurst)

Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience

About the Practice

We are a boutique, concierge-style pain management and orthopedic practice in North & Central New Jersey focused on personalized care, efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience. Our practice emphasizes professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail in a calm, well-organized environment.

We are seeking a Front Desk & Clinical Support Coordinator to play a central role in both patient-facing and back-office operations.

This position is an excellent fit for experienced Medical Assistants and for motivated pre-med or pre-health students on a gap year seeking meaningful clinical exposure.

Role Overview

This is a hybrid front desk and clinical support role with flexibility based on experience, skills, and career interests. The primary focus is ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering a high-touch, concierge-level patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Experience

Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner

Answer phones, manage scheduling, and respond to patient inquiries

Create a calm, welcoming, and organized office environment

Serve as a point of contact for patients throughout their visit

Back Office & Administrative Support

Scan, upload, and organize medical records and documentation

Manage incoming calls, referrals, and messages

Assist with daily workflow and office coordination

Support physician and clinical staff with operational needs

Use Athena EMR for documentation and scheduling (training provided if needed)

Optional Clinical Responsibilities (Based on Experience & Interest)

Obtain vital signs and assist with patient intake

Room patients and support clinical flow

Assist with minor in-office procedures if trained

Gain exposure to interventional pain management workflows

Clinical duties are not required, but available for candidates with appropriate training or career goals.
