Department: Production Current Available Shift Schedule(s): 2nd: 2:00pm-10:30pm | 3rd: 10:00pm-6:30am Location: Charlestown, New Hampshire The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating production equipment to fabricate Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). They are responsible for all aspects of their production area requirements including set up, running and maintaining manufacturing equipment, monitoring output for conformance, performing quality checks, preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOP) and follow production guidelines/specifications. Follows established guidelines for safe material handling and protective gear. Adheres to environmental, health and safety standards at all times. Maintain a clean workspace and production floor. When applicable, create or download job programs to run jobs on machines. Read, interpret and maintain required records of production activities. Performs other related duties as assigned. Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of manufacturing methods, systems, and production processes. Strong team orientation. Motivated, results oriented, customer focused, with a high commitment to quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn new technology. Good oral and written communication skills. Creative thinking with sound problem solving and decision-making. Be a team player and must work well with others. Receptive to learning new skills and able to cross train in other departments. Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational Training preferred. Minimum 1 year of manufacturing work experience preferred. Must have hands-on / mechanical aptitude / trade (e.g. farming, construction, auto repair, machining, woodworking, etc.) Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: This is a hands-on role spent on the production floor in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires standing, walking, bending, leaning, reaching, and sitting for extended periods, as well as the use of standard office equipment. Flexibility in schedule, including occasional extended hours, may be necessary to support production demands. Work involves exposure to chemicals, fumes, noise, and manufacturing materials. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, protective clothing, and respiratory protection, is required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks. The ability to wear required respiratory protection is an essential function of the role. The position may require lifting up to 44 pounds (20 kg), a high level of manual dexterity, the ability to safely operate factory machines & equipment, and use software to run computer-operated machinery.
