Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our Sports Grill Restaurant in Kendall. This role requires a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to promoting a family-friendly atmosphere that supports local teams and engages with the community. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on operations, team management, and leadership strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality food and service.
Manage food and liquor costs to maintain profitability while ensuring excellent quality.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.

2. Team Leadership:

Recruit, hire, and train staff, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
Provide ongoing coaching and counseling to team members to improve performance and service levels.
Schedule staff effectively to ensure adequate coverage and to control labor costs.

3. Customer Engagement:

Create a welcoming atmosphere for families and sports fans alike, promoting community involvement.
Develop and implement marketing ideas and promotions internally to attract and retain customers, including events centered around community sports teams.

4. Financial Oversight:

Monitor and analyze financial performance, including sales and costs.
Prepare reports and forecasts to ensure feedback and optimize profitability.

5. Community Relations:

Build relationships with local sports teams, schools, and community organizations to drive engagement and business.
Organize community events and promotions to enhance brand loyalty and visibility.

6. Time Management:

Prioritize tasks effectively to manage operational demands and enhance service during peak hours.
Demonstrate systems that streamline operations and improve customer experience

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a sports bar or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost control and inventory management.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and community engagement. Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
