Automotive Finance Manager

Position Overview
The Finance Manager plays an essential role in guiding customers through the final stage of their vehicle purchase while protecting the interests of both the customer and the dealership.
This position requires a thorough understanding of automotive lending, finance products, lender requirements, and all applicable compliance standards. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing strong results while remaining organized, professional, and customer-focused.
Primary Responsibilities
- Structure deals in accordance with dealership and lender guidelines.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of credit applications and supporting documents.
- Submit applications to lenders and secure competitive financing options.
- Clearly and professionally present financing terms and available protection products.
- Offer finance products, including vehicle service contracts and other applicable coverage.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard all customer information.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- Review funding packages for accuracy and submit complete documentation promptly.
- Follow up immediately on missing lender stipulations or funding requirements.
- Communicate problematic or potentially delayed deals to management.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with banks and credit unions.
- Remain current on lender programs, regulatory changes, and new financing opportunities.
- Coordinate with other departments to maintain an efficient and consistent sales process.
- Assist with training the sales team on finance products, procedures, and relevant compliance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and organized office environment.

- Compensation structure: Competitive pay plan that rewards both overall PVR as well as products per deal. (More details to be provided during interview).
- Reasonably expected annual compensation: $125,000 - $200,000

Qualifications
- Current or recent automotive dealership finance management experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of automotive lending and relationships with banks and credit unions
- Thorough understanding of finance compliance requirements and applicable consumer-protection laws
- Experience presenting and selling finance and protection products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Comfortable using modern dealership technology, DMS platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to adapt as industry practices, technology, and regulations change
