At Positive Nature Homecare, it's all about you! We are dedicated to patient-centered care and are looking for someone who is also passionate about delivering quality care. We are a Home Health agency based in Kennewick, WA and need an Assistant Clinical Services Manager. Under the guidance of trained and qualified Clinical Service Managers, this position will receive comprehensive training in the EEOICPA process and procedures from the authorization to ongoing home health services and requirements. After successful completion of the 90-day training program, this position will be considered for promotion to a Clinical Services Manager.

Core duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned).

Supports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively. Represents themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and community. Adheres to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance. Reports on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within a designated time. Adheres to all company policies and procedures outlined in employee handbook, employee agreement, or communicated from the executive team.
Learn and apply the EEOICPA process and procedures for authorization to ongoing home health services and requirements.
Aides in planning and organizing activities related to specified clinical services to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with professional standards of medical and nursing care and administrative procedures.
Assists with coordinating activities with departments, agencies, and health facilities as needed.
Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation methods to ensure effective and efficient use of staff, equipment, management, utilization review, and discharge planning programs.
Assists in development and implementation of the treatment plan for each patient in coordination with the patient's physician. Ensures effective communication and implementation of each patient's plan of care. Aids in providing support, guidance, and education to patients and patient's families and/or caregivers to maintain optimal physical and emotional wellbeing.
Learns and aids in completing all clinical documentation in a timely manner, including admissions, recertifications, and resumptions of care accurately and ensures that documentation meets all requirements per agency policies and state regulations.
Performs bedside nursing duties or other direct patient care when necessary.
Ensures any observed or suspected adult abuse, neglect, or exploitation is reported to proper authorities as mandated as a health professional and resolved.
Complies and participates in the continuing quality improvement by appropriately reporting incidents, injuries, infections, falls, and all components of the risk management program.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Office hours are 8:30-4:30 PM Monday through Friday and some work after hours or on weekends may be required.
