Family Law Paralegal

About Us

We are a fast-paced, high-volume law firm dedicated exclusively to family law. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, strategic, and results-driven representation to individuals and families navigating difficult legal matters. Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys to support family law cases from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, possesses strong writing skills, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, correspondence, and other legal documents.
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case status updates.
Organize, maintain, and manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars.
Assist attorneys with case preparation, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
Manage discovery, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and organizing evidence.
Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, experts, and other third parties as needed.
Ensure all case-related documents are accurate, complete, and filed timely.
Support attorneys with administrative and case management tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism and client service.

Qualifications

Prior paralegal experience preferred; family law experience is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software preferred.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
