Full Job Description

Embrace Learning Institute (ELI) is looking for an experienced and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team!

We’re a growing organization dedicated to helping students thrive, and we’re looking for someone who brings strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to be part of something meaningful.

What You’ll Do

Manage day-to-day accounting functions and financial transactions
Prepare, review, and reconcile account balances and financial records
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial reports and provide accounting analysis
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
Assist with audits, tax preparation, and other compliance requirements
Identify discrepancies and help develop solutions
Collaborate with leadership and other departments
Support financial planning and organizational goals
Take on additional accounting and financial projects as needed

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, team-oriented attitude
Someone who takes initiative and enjoys finding ways to make things better
A genuine appreciation for children and the work we do to support them

What We Offer

$65,000–$90,000 annual salary, depending on experience
Monday–Friday schedule
