Full Job Description

Overview

Vexla Org LLC is an approved Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) vendor providing Traditional Supported Employment and Employment & Retention services statewide. We’re hiring four Job Coaches to cover Kentucky’s West, South-Central, Bluegrass (Louisville/Lexington), and East regions.

What You’ll Do

Provide one-on-one, on-the-job coaching to individuals with disabilities as they start and stabilize in competitive employment
Conduct job development, discovery/assessment activities, and job placement support
Deliver ongoing Supported Employment Services (job-site coaching, natural supports development, fading of support over time)
Run creative assessment, job club, and interview prep sessions to build client confidence and motivation
Document services and submit progress notes/reports per OVR CRP Manual requirements
Travel within your assigned region to meet clients at job sites, employers, and community locations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; candidates without a degree are welcome to apply with equivalent experience working with people with disabilities, or a strong customer service background
Must complete OVR’s Supported Employment Training Project (SETP) Core Training Series, provided through the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute — required within 6 months of starting, delivered online with required quizzes
Credentials must be submitted to and approved by OVR before providing services to any OVR consumer
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance — required for regular travel to job sites and consumer meetings across the assigned region

Pay Structure (based on Vexla’s current OVR reimbursement rates — paid per hour/milestone as work is completed and invoiced)

Job Development $40.00/hr

Discovery/PCEP Activities $40.00/hr

Supported Employment Services (ongoing coaching) $40.00/hr

Extended Services (Youth, ages 14–24) $40.00/hr

Travel time $40.00/hr

Milestone Bonuses (paid when a client reaches a stable employment outcome)

Job Acquisition Report, job placed within 60 days: $400
Job Acquisition Report, job placed 61+ days: $200
Stable Employment Outcome, Day 1: $250
Stable Employment Outcome, Day 45: $750
Stable Employment Outcome, Day 90: $1,500

Schedule: Field-based, flexible hours around client and employer availability. Independent contractor / 1099 role (or specify W-2 if that’s your setup).

This is very rewarding and flexible work you can work around your schedule

Part-time, 4 clients: up to $11,600 in milestone bonuses alone.

Full-time, 8–10 clients: up to $26,100–$29,000 in milestone bonuses.

Plus hourly pay for every coaching hour, on top.

(Bonus figures reflect a full best-case milestone cycle — job acquisition through Day 90 — per client; hourly billing is separate and additional.)
