Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology! This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver expert skin care, perform procedures, and collaborate with our team of expert Dermatologists dedicated to patient well-being. We specialize in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and surgical dermatology.

You will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of dermatological conditions while utilizing your clinical expertise to enhance patient outcomes. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your skills in medical assessment, procedural techniques, and patient education can thrive.

Competitive Compensation and benefits. Compensation includes base salary and incentive compensation based on production and is dependent on experience.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive skin examinations, including physical assessments and vital signs, to accurately diagnose dermatological conditions, including skin cancers.
Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
Educate patients on skin health, treatment options, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal outcomes.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with current state licensure in good standing.
Demonstrated experience in dermatology or related outpatient settings is preferred
Proficiency in EMR/EHR system for documentation and data management.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy relevant to dermatology, and pharmacology for medication prescribing.
Ability to perform physical examinations, diagnostic test interpretation, and procedural techniques including suturing and injection administration.
Experience with CPT coding for procedures, ICD coding for diagnoses, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about treatment plans and skin health strategies.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
