Full Job Description

Job Summary:

Responsible for all facility operations on shift. Work with senior and department managers to ensure a safe, consistent guest experience for all Club One Casino guests.
Check all employees in/out for shifts, meal/break periods and observing time clock usage.
Track employee attendance, tardiness and appearance.
Insure that posted schedules and duties are followed. Adjust staffing as directed by department managers, balancing coverage and personnel costs.
Supervise all dealers including establishing and managing rotations, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures and suggesting training or discipline, as necessary.
Suggest procedure and policy changes to senior management as appropriate.
Communicate to staff re: tournaments, promotions and policy/procedure changes.
Produce and submit a shift report for Casino Manager or General Manager regarding all incidents and business issues on shift.
Maintain accurate and timely game tracking grid. Record and collect all dealer drops.
Responsible for all entrusted funds including dealer trays, podiums and other funds in operation on the casino floor. Conduct random checks of trays and podiums to ensure proper balance and compliance with state and local laws.
Manage daily tournament and poker floor operations as necessary.
Graveyard only; monitor the D-14 Box pick-up to ensure that all drop boxes are retrieved and match the tracking sheet.
Greet Club One Casino guests and help resolve guest issues and concerns as necessary.
Oversee and ensure diligent implementation of Title 31 policies and procedures. Communicate observed discrepancies or reporting shortfalls to senior management.
Assist guests with Responsible Gaming Self-Restriction and Self-Exclusion programs.
Monitor guest behavior including alcohol consumption, treatment of staff and other guests, compliance with game rules and Code of Conduct. Anticipate and report possible behavior issues to management or security staff.
Support other department managers in their tasks related to the gaming floor.
Ensure all dealers are consistently offering the Player-Dealer position as required and reinforce proper procedure during each game setup
Complete continuing education and training as directed by management.
Any and all reasonable duties that may be assigned in the future.

Essential Job Skills:

Fluency in English. Ability to read and write English.
Superior communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well with all Club One Casino employees at all levels.
Working knowledge of and ability to rule in accordance with City of Fresno Card Room Ordinance, state gaming laws, Robert’s Rules of Poker and Club One Casino game and house rules and procedures.
Ability to monitor and implement Club One Casino games and promotions consistent with Club One Casino procedures.
Ability to monitor and manage Club One Casino tournament activity.
Experience and judgment to solve time critical problems.
Creativity, patience and conflict resolution skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old.
Card Room work permit.
California Gambling Control Commission Key Employee license.
High school diploma or equivalent.
5-7 years experience in casino gaming environment.
Proficiency with web-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
