Overview
As our videographer, you will coordinate with the Creative Director for video requests and work with the Marketing Department and the Creative Team to build a schedule, find talent, scout locations, script outline, establish shooting dates, fulfill location needs (food, electric, extra people, etc), help track the shot log (marking takes as good/no good), and assembling the rough cut edit.
Once the video is complete with final color corrected clips, titles, graphics, etc, and uploaded to its destination platforms, the videographer will ensure the finished videos are cataloged and available to the marketing team for campaigns as needed.
Responsibilities for Videographer
- Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects
- Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training, and other enterprise-wide projects
- Work independently, as well as part of the Creative Team, to establish project deliverables
- Collaborate closely with internal clients, stakeholders and the Creative Director to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
- Plan and execute video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations, and ensure all location needs are met – electric, lighting, environmental, etc.
- Develop production schedules and tracking – meeting with stakeholders as needed
- Execute the production as planned, including lighting, video and audio recording, ensuring the video files are available to the Creative Team for further editing on the creative server
- Direct and coach talent
- Work with the Creative Team to maintain the project's branding and finalization
- Edit project concepts and rough-cuts, and final edit as necessary/able
- Ensure that the production quality of the final product is top-notch
- Manage video library
- Evaluate analytics
- Fully responsible for video campaigns meeting performance expectations, info video as well as ads
Qualifications for Videographer
- An associate or bachelor's degree in film, media, management, production, or related experience.
- A minimum of 4 years experience working on film/video sets or as part of a production team.
- Strong knowledge of video production processes and activities: video, audio, lighting, grip, etc.
- Working knowledge of post-production video and sound editing (Premiere, Audition, AfterEffects, Resolve) and delivery formats
- Skilled at negotiation, planning, and budgeting.
- Able to lead and manage several tasks at once.
- Calm under pressure and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment.
- Problem-solving skills, deadline-focused, and goal-driven.
- Meticulous in their work with high standards of excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident, passionate, and professional.
