Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient assessment skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional nursing care across diverse settings. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
Manage complex care needs such as IV infusion, catheterization, wound suturing, and ventilator management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
Provide education and health coaching to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications.
Ensure infection control practices are maintained rigorously in compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.
Assist in emergency situations including trauma medicine, acute pain management, or critical care scenarios within Level I or Level II trauma centers.

Requirements

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or jurisdiction.
Proven experience in acute care settings such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers.
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation.
Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities, or hospice patients.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
Critical care experience such as ICU or Level I Trauma Center preferred; experience in cardiac catheterization or dialysis is a plus.
Strong skills in patient assessment, airway management, specimen collection/processing, and aseptic techniques.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring triage skills and emergency response capabilities.
