Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant <PERSON> to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and manage the seamless coordination of kitchen and front-of-house activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, managerial skills, and passion for hospitality in a lively upscale casual dining environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the restaurant team, including chefs, servers, and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize costs while maintaining freshness and safety
Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary restrictions and special requests to enhance guest satisfaction
Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures, health regulations, and sanitation standards across all kitchen operations
Monitor shift operations, including staffing levels, service flow, and customer engagement to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction

Experience

Supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Demonstrated success in food service management, including inventory management and cost control strategies
Upscale dining experience that highlights attention to detail and high standards of service excellence
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining a focus on hospitality and customer care
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and dietary considerations within the food industry
