Full Job Description

Dune Street Rawbar & Grill is seeking to add a select few motivated & hard-working team members to our kitchen ahead of the upcoming busy season. We have full & part-time positions available at the moment and expect to fill these positions sooner than later so if you are interested, send us a message, apply now or stop by the restaurant & fill out an application.

We have a competent and cohesive existing team and are looking for individuals that will help us continue to grow into becoming a must-visit destination restaurant in the Outer Banks.

We maintain a smoke-free, drug-free environment at all times in an effort to preserve the health and well-being of our coworkers and also provide gym memberships at the YMCA for all positions after 6 weeks of employment. We provide meals after shifts & offer flexible hours.

In the BoH at Dune Street, you will be expected to prepare dishes & prepped ingredients according to our recipe book & chef's instructions. The expeditor ensures a smooth and timely flow of orders from the kitchen to the servers, they will check dishes for accuracy and presentation, and assist in final dish preparation. Additionally, you will be expected to work in a clean & organized fashion and be ready to assist others in various tasks as needed in order to carry out a smooth & efficient lunch and dinner service.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food & cooking, seek to learn & improve daily with the company, and possess a strong work ethic & attitude, always willing to help out fellow team members. We are always learning from each other, staying curious & creative, and taking advantage of the opportunity to hone our craft each day, making a positive impact within our community and increasing the reputation of the Outer Banks food scene & offerings.
