An exceptional opportunity is now available for a Clinical Nurse Educator of Emergency to shape practice in a high-acuity, advanced emergency department, comprehensive clinical education environment, and evidence based practice culture serving a dynamic patient population. The Emergency Department is a fast-paced Emergency Room delivering high-acuity emergency and trauma services across the continuum of acute emergency care. You will maintain visible presence on the floor, guiding practice standards, supporting competency validation, and strengthening orientation for new Emergency RN hires. Working closely with physician leadership and nursing management, this Emergency Department Clinical Educator will oversee staff development initiatives, simulation training, workflow optimization, and evidence-based practice implementation. The role carries meaningful autonomy—identifying practice gaps, designing education strategy, supporting quality improvement efforts, and ensuring clinical consistency across shifts. This is an opportunity to influence frontline care delivery while advancing long-term professional development programs within a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Reporting to senior nursing leadership, the Emergency Department Staff Development Coordinator partners closely with department managers, charge nurses, trauma leadership, and ancillary departments to align education with operational priorities. The position holds direct influence over competency programs, regulatory readiness, policy rollout, and clinical performance improvement initiatives. Leadership will look to this individual as the subject matter expert for emergency nursing education, a strategic partner in workforce development, and a visible mentor for both novice and experienced clinicians.
