Full Job Description

Position

Receptionist

* Part -time

* Weekend availability preferred

Responsibilities

Guest Experience

* Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.

* Check clients in and out using our booking and POS system.

* Answer phone calls, text messages, emails, and online inquiries promptly.

* Schedule, modify, and confirm appointments.

* Manage deposits, cancellations, waitlists, and appointment changes according to salon policies.

* Offer beverages and ensure every guest feels comfortable during their visit.

* Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining our luxury service standards.

Front Desk Operations

* Process payments accurately.

* Recommend salon services and retail products.

* Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting at all times.

* Maintain accurate client records.

* Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Nail Technician Support

To help create a smooth workflow and exceptional guest experience, the receptionist will also:

* Prepare clients for their appointments and escort them to their stations.

* Help clean and reset manicure and pedicure stations between clients.

* Refill beverages and check on guests during services.

* Restock salon supplies, towels, and disposable items throughout the day.

* Assist with laundry, towel folding, and maintaining salon cleanliness.

* Organize products and inventory as needed.

* Communicate appointment updates and help technicians stay on schedule.

* Anticipate the needs of both guests and technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.

Qualifications

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.

* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

* Comfortable using computers, iPads, and scheduling software.

* Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Previous receptionist, hospitality, retail, spa, or salon experience is preferred but not required.
