We’re currently seeking a Event Operations Manager to lead the charge in optimizing operations, building scalable systems, and fostering a growth-oriented culture of excellence and innovation.
The Event Operations Manager oversees client instruction, event execution, and instructor recruitment and training, ensuring high-quality experiences for both clients and staff. This role reports directly to the CRO and focuses on improving operational efficiency, developing training programs & Instructors, and enhancing the overall client journey.
Expectations: The Event Operations Manager develops the instructor team, takes end to end ownership of solving problems and developing the team within the Operations department. This person is collaborative, constructive, and operates with a focus on a sustainable culture to ensure the health and growth of Rally Ready. This person is willing to adjust their duties to suit the dynamic environment that is often required to ensure client and employee expectations are met and exceeded.
Responsibilities:
Instructor Sourcing, Training, & Management: Ensure a measurable improvement on every active instructor's report card. Manage & develop instructor contractors with an emphasis on delivering high-quality teaching. Oversee instructor performance evaluations and manage scheduling. Attend weekly L10 meetings, as well as organize Monthly instructor training sessions to ensure continuous development and alignment with event standards. Steward a positive, growth-oriented culture for instructors and clients alike.
Process Improvement: Continually improve client onboarding and overall class experience in collaboration with the CRO and Lead Instructors. Implement client and instructor Licensing programs. Modernize classroom presentation alongside curriculum development to exceed client expectations.
Event Management: Plan, organize, and oversee operations during events, ensuring schedules are met and client expectations are exceeded. Address client concerns promptly during events. Coordinate & collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure classrooms and tracks are in optimal condition before and after events, as well as vehicle servicing, improvements and safety. Maintain safety and availability of all necessary equipment.
Operational Awareness: Dispatch management to ensure staffing, and vehicles etc.. Attend all client onboarding calls, and coordinate & collaborate with the Shop Manager & Sales to ensure readiness of the entire team to maximize client experience.
Inventory & Supplies Management: Coordinate & collaborate with the Shop Manager on inventory for events, including food, fuel, and class supplies. Forecast needs and conduct regular audits to ensure readiness.
Interdepartmental Communication: Coordinate & collaborate with the Shop Manager, Sales, Marketing & Leadership to ensure timely, solution-oriented communication across teams.
Client Experience: Accountable for walking in the shoes of clients. Sightline facility improvements at all scales. Execute any improvements and processes that are readily solvable, and collaborate with Leadership and Operations team members for larger scale improvements. Maintain consistency in leading initiatives focused on the client experience across all touchpoints.
Client Instruction: Act as primary Lead Instructor delivering high-quality rally driving instruction, tailored to varying skill levels. Ensure client safety and provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences. Monitor progress, give feedback, and collaborate with the Instructor team on session preparation.
Compensation
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience (e.g., $70,000 - $80,000/year).
Benefits and PTO: Employee will be eligible to participate in any benefits offered by the company (subject to probationary period).
Location: On-site, 5-days/week
