Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing plastic surgery team. This position works directly alongside our board-certified plastic surgeon in a fast-paced, patient-centered practice focused on delivering exceptional care and outstanding patient experiences.

Plastic surgery experience is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience in cosmetic surgery, facial plastics, dermatology, ENT plastics, or other surgical specialties are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories and vital signs.
Prepare patients for consultations, procedures, and post-operative visits.
Assist the physician with in-office procedures and sterile technique.
Provide detailed pre-operative education and post-operative instructions.
Perform dressing changes, suture removal, wound care, and clinical photography.
Maintain procedure rooms, instruments, and supplies.
Coordinate surgical scheduling and communicate with patients throughout their surgical journey.
Document accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Assist with inventory management and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked.
Deliver exceptional customer service while helping patients feel comfortable and cared for.

Qualifications

Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
Plastic surgery experience strongly preferred.
Experience in a surgical specialty such as plastic surgery, dermatology, ENT, orthopedics, or general surgery is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical workflows.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-first mindset.
Comfortable working closely with cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients.
