Austin Lifetime Dental | Westlake

Austin Lifetime Dental is a privately owned general dental practice that has been serving Austin since 1995. We are looking for an experienced dental professional to join our Westlake administrative team.

We are a relationship-focused practice that values excellent patient care, teamwork, clear communication, and people who take pride in doing their jobs well. We have an established team, organized systems, and a supportive environment where people are encouraged to learn, contribute, and grow.

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for our patients while helping keep the daily schedule and administrative side of the practice running efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

Welcome patients and assist with check-in and checkout
Answer patient phone calls and assist with questions and scheduling
Schedule new and existing patients
Manage provider schedules efficiently and help maintain productive patient flow
Review treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients
Collect and process patient payments
Maintain accurate patient accounts and ledgers
Assist with dental insurance, claims, and billing
Communicate and coordinate with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members throughout the day
Complete daily administrative responsibilities and participate in opening and closing rotations
Attend team meetings, training courses, and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

Dental experience is important for this position. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, communicates well, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and professional patient experience.

Qualifications include:

Minimum of 2 years of dental administrative or clinical experience
Strong customer service and patient communication skills
Working knowledge of dental terminology, patient ledgers, insurance benefits, claims, and billing
Experience scheduling dental providers efficiently
Comfortable learning and using multiple dental, scheduling, and communication platforms
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional written and verbal communication
Ability to identify issues, ask questions when needed, and help find solutions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Availability to work Monday through Friday as the office schedule expands

Compensation

$20-$25 per hour, based on dental experience and skill level

Schedule

Our regular Westlake office hours are:

Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break

As our practice grows, we plan to expand our schedule to include:

Friday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
