Full Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Program Assistant to join our team at The Franciscan Spirituality Center, a sacred place of peace and hospitality that welcomes everyone seeking spiritual renewal, personal and professional growth, healing, transformation and deeper self-awareness.

As the Franciscan Spirituality Center Program Assistant, you would support the mission by fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and impactful environment for all guests. You will work in partnership with the Program Retreat Coordinator, providing essential logistical, operational, and guest-facing services for FSC’s programming.

We are looking for an energetic, caring individual who has:

- Experience in program coordination, event planning, non-profit sectors preferred.
- Advanced technological proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and remote communication tools (such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams). Ability to adapt and learn new workplace technologies.
Ability to work varied shifts, which include evening and weekend hours.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Respect the diversity of spiritual beliefs and life experiences among staff, guests, and visitors.

We are looking for someone who shares our values of hospitality and partnership and desires a culture that puts relationships first.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Support and model the mission of the Franciscan Spirituality Center

Manage daily or event based rosters

Manage the center’s booking calendar for programs and facilities.

Track and verify program and retreat payments for events

Serve as the primary bridge between FSC's leadership, program presenters, and the shepherds

Create Zoom links, monitor, provide support, and run virtual retreats or programs
